Project Details.

  • Customer: Larnaca Water Board

  • Challenge: Review the performance of LoRaWAN enabled water meters in a large scale pilot deployment.

  • Solution Provided: Deployment and operation of a private LoRaWAN Communication Network and installation of of 320 LoRaWAN Water Meter Modules on existing Water Meters.

      • 10 x MultiTech Conduit® IP67 LoRaWAN Base Stations on a custom base incorporating a Photovoltaic power source

    • LoRaWAN Water Meter Communication Modules

      • 315 x Maddalena ARROW WAN 868

      • 5 x NAS LoRaWAN® Pulse Readers

  • CyRIC IoT Role:

    • Provision of all the equipment (LoRaWAN Base Stations, LoRaWAN Water Meter Modules)

    • Custom development, provision and installation of the LoRaWAN Base Station bases with an integrated Photovoltaic power source

    • Installation, setup and configuration of the LoRaWAN Water Meter Modules

    • Setup and configuration of the LoRaWAN Network

    • Operation of the LoRaWAN Network
