Indoor Air Quality and Environment Monitoring at Ypsonas Elementary School.

Project Details.

  • Customer: Municipality of Ypsonas

  • Challenge: Evaluate through constant monitoring, data analysis and reporting, the indoor air quality and environment at Ypsonas Elementary School classes.

  • Solution Provided: Deployment of LoRaWAN enabled indoor air quality and environment monitoring sensors in the school classes. The sensors monitor data like indoor temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, TVOC, barometric pressure, light levels and presence. The data are transferred through the municipality wide LoRaWAN network to our web platform where is presented and analyzed.
    Based on the customer’s requirement, we created normal operation thresholds for each monitored parameter and if any parameter exceeds the pre-defined thresholds an alert is triggered that is communicated to the users through Push Notification, SMS and Email.
