CyRIC IoT is an enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring and management platform operated by CyRIC. The CyRIC IoT mobile application is intended for authorized users only, including administrators, operators, and customers of deployed IoT systems.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on user role and enabled features, the application may collect and process:

  • User & Account Data

    • Email address

    • Username

    • User role (e.g. administrator, operator)

    • Organization and customer identifiers

  • Device & IoT Data

    • Device identifiers (e.g. DevEUI, device ID, tag ID)

    • Sensor measurements (e.g. environmental, energy, water, or industrial data)

    • Device status and health indicators

    • Timestamps and metadata associated with device data

  • Technical & Usage Data

    • Application logs and diagnostics

    • IP address and access timestamps

    • Error reports and performance metrics

The app does not collect:

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Data for marketing or behavioral advertising purposes

3. How We Use the Data

Collected data is used strictly to:

  • Authenticate and authorize users

  • Display IoT data, dashboards, and alerts

  • Enable device monitoring, analytics, and reporting

  • Ensure platform security, auditing, and reliability

  • Diagnose issues and improve system performance

4. Data Sharing

CyRIC IoT does not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data may be processed by trusted infrastructure providers strictly for service operation, including:

  • Cloud hosting and storage services

  • Secure analytics and monitoring systems

All data processors operate under contractual and technical safeguards.

We apply industry-standard security measures, including:
